As a Mobile App

Install Versture on your iPhone or Android device. Open the app before your sermon, press "Start Listening," and preach as usual. Versture handles the scriptures so you can focus on your message.

On Projectors & Screens

Connect Versture to your church's projector or screen. As you preach, Versture displays any scripture you mention faster than your team can search for it, even when you quote it loosely or refer to it indirectly.

Verses will be displayed for anything you say that relates to scripture, including direct references, quotes, paraphrases, biblical events, or indirect mentions.

Only direct references and quotations

Only scriptures that are explicitly referenced (e.g., "John 3:16") or quoted will be shown.

Only direct references

Only scriptures with clear book, chapter, and verse references will appear.

Translations

Currently, Versture can only display verses in the King James Version (KJV) inside the app. So when you speak, the verses that appear will be in KJV. If you prefer a different translation, you can select it below. This won't change what's shown in the app, but when you click on a verse, it will open on BibleGateway.com in your chosen translation.

Note: On mobile browsers, Versture can't hear you while you're on BibleGateway.com or any other site. To keep it listening, return to the app. For uninterrupted use, we recommend downloading the Versture mobile app as it doesn't have this limitation.

Maximum Stream Duration

Versture automatically ends your stream when it reaches the duration you set below. This helps prevent accidental over-streaming if you forget to stop it yourself. You can always restart the stream or adjust this limit later.

Confirmation Threshold (Enhanced Plan Only)

Choose how many times Versture should confirm a scripture before showing it. At 0 (default), scriptures appear right away but may be pulled back if they don't fit. At 1-5, Versture waits for that many confirmations before showing the verse. More confirmations mean verses take longer to appear (about 1 second per confirmation), but accuracy improves.

Welcome to Versture! By creating an account and using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("ToS"). If you do not agree, please do not use our app.

1. Overview

Versture is an application that listens to sermons and displays referenced scriptures on the user's device.

2. Accounts

You must create an account to use Versture.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these ToS.

3. Payments & Airtime

Versture operates on a pay-as-you-go model. You can buy airtime by the hour and use it anytime.
Payments are processed via credit or debit card, including Apple Pay and Google Pay (GPay).
All purchased airtime expires one year after purchase.
All purchases are non-refundable.

4. Use of the Service

Versture relies on third-party speech-to-text services. Accuracy of scripture detection is not guaranteed.
Users retain full ownership of sermon content.
We do not store sermon audio.

5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Speech recognition may not be 100% accurate, and scripture references displayed may not be error-free.

Versture is not responsible for incorrect or missing scripture references.

We are not liable for any losses or damages resulting from use of the app.

6. Privacy & Data Collection

We collect user transcripts to improve the service. Transcripts may be manually reviewed by our staff.

Third-party services process user audio for speech recognition.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these ToS from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the new terms.

Account Data: When you sign up, we collect your email and password. If you buy a plan, we collect your payment details.
Transcripts: We process and may manually review transcripts to improve our service quality.
Cookies and Tracking: We use cookies for login, session management, and analytics. When you visit our site, we create a browser_id cookie to identify your browser and a session_id cookie to track your visit. We log actions you take on the site (such as clicks, navigation, and interactions) to analyze usage and improve site performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

To operate, maintain, and improve Versture's services.
To understand how people use our website through session-based activity tracking.
To generate aggregate usage statistics (e.g., session counts, page views, feature engagement).
To measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.

3. Third-Party Services

We use a third-party speech-to-text provider to process sermon audio.
Payments are securely processed through trusted third-party payment processors.
We use Meta Pixel to track page views and subscription events, which helps us understand our ad performance. We do not use it for retargeting or share user-identifying information with Meta.

4. Your Rights

You may request to access or delete your account and associated data at any time.
If you are a California resident, you have the right to request details about your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). You may also request that we delete your personal information, subject to certain exceptions.
We do not sell or share personal information for behavioral advertising purposes.
You can opt out of non-essential data collection by contacting us directly.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If any changes are made, the revised policy will be posted on this page and the effective date will be updated above. Your continued use of the service after changes indicates your acceptance.
